摘要:This paper will focus on the design and development of the Survey of Canadian Engineering Instructors (SCEI), from framework to final implemented version. The primary goal of this project was to increase the experience and capacity for rigorous educational research within the CEEA community, and to benchmark engineering faculty attitudes towards teaching and learning. The development, approval and implementation of the study are a key focus presented in this paper, with the intent of providing a holistic view of how the project is managed and enacted. Alongside this narrative are the preliminary findings from the project thus far. These findings provide insight into faculty perceptions and attitudes towards teaching and learning. These responses highlight the need for a more in-depth analysis to determine the interesting trends observed in the data.
