摘要:This descriptive phenomenological qualitative case study aimed to examine the perceptions of emergency department (ED) workers regarding quality of working life (QWL). Nine QWL dimensions were investigated. Two rounds of individual semi-structured face-to-face in-depth interviews were held with 5 physicians and 11 nurses. Data were analyzed using Colaizzi’s process. The findings indicate that most negative QWL issues centered on high workload and poor salary. EDs should deploy additional resources to improve the QWL of ED workers.
