摘要：บทความนี้ นำเสนอการวิเคราะห์ทักษะที่จำเป็นในศตวรรษที่ 21(21 st Century skills) ในมุมมองของทักษะเพื่อวิถีแห่งการคิด (Way of living) วิถีแห่งการทำงาน (Ways of working) และวิถีแห่งการใช้ชีวิต (Ways of living) โดยทักษะในบทความนี้เป็นการนำเสนอเพื่อให้เป็นกรอบแนวคิดและแนวทางสำหรับนักวิจัยและบุคลากรทางการศึกษาได้นำไปใช้เพื่อเตรียมความพร้อมเยาวชนและบุคคลทั่วไปในการเข้าร่วมประชาคมเศรษฐกิจอาเซียน (ASEAN Economic Community: AEC) ในฐานะที่ประเทศไทยเป็นหนึ่งในประเทศสมาชิกสมาคมประชาชาติแห่งเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ (The Association of South East Asian Nations : ASEAN) ซึ่งทักษะต่างๆ ที่จำเป็นในศตวรรษที่ 21 นี้ สามารถส่งเสริมหรือพัฒนาได้ด้วยการจัดการเรียนรู้วิทยาศาสตร์ เพื่อให้ผู้เรียนได้เกิดการรู้วิทยาศาสตร์ (Scientific Literacy) ผ่านการใช้ประเด็นทางวิทยาศาสตร์กับสังคม (Socio-scientific issues, SSI) พร้อมตัวอย่างกรณีศึกษาที่สามารถนำมาปรับใช้ในการจัดการเรียนรู้วิทยาศาสตร์เพื่อทักษะในศตวรรษที่ 21 ให้ผู้เรียนสามารถใช้การคิดอย่างมีวิจารณญาณ การแก้ปัญหาและการตัดสินใจ โดยอยู่บนพื้นฐานของข้อมูล ประจักษ์พยานที่เชื่อถือได้ และสามารถร่วมแสดงความคิดเห็นเพื่อตัดสินใจในประเด็นต่างๆ ที่เกิดขึ้นในฐานะพลเมืองของโลก (World citizen) This article provides the analysis of the important skills for 21 st century in terms of 1) Ways of thinking, 2) Ways of working and, 3) Ways of living. The 21 st century skills presented in this paper aim to provide the framework and concept for researchers and educators to apply such knowledge and skills to children and citizen, Which are essential since we are participating in ASEAN Economic Community or AEC in the near future. Furthermore, the skills for 21 st century are consistent with the goal of science education which is to prepare and develop a scientific Literate citizen. In this paper, we include the framework for learning and teaching science through “Socio-Scientific Issues” (SSI) and the example of a case for teaching SSI. Therefore, people in this generation can canvey critical thinking, problem solving, and decision making based on scientific evidence to livng in 21 st century as a world citizen.
