摘要:The aim of this paper is to discuss the exploitation of bone raw material at the Laguna El Doce site, located in the Santa Fe´s Pampa Lagoons (Argentina) and with a chronology that ranges from approximately 8.000 to 1.500 years AP. In this opportunity we enlarge the analyzed sample to include new data. Following previous works, we classify the sample in morphological categories and then determine the bone used as support. Finally, the sample is microscopically analyzed to assess the functionality of the artifacts in the prehistoric contexts. As result, we recognize the existence of different activities, mainly linked to the work on lithic materials, and the selection of diaphysis of Artiodactyla and Lama guanicoe as supports, the taxa that form the subsistence basis of societies under study. In last instance, this paper allows to a more comprehensive understanding of faunal exploitation, particularly of Lama guanicoe.
