They can be replaced each other in thecase that they refer to actuality or fact no matter the actuality or the fact is anoun or an adverb. In some cases, they cannot replace each other; forinstance, jinjjaneun (진짜는) cannot replace jeongmareun (정말은) andjinjjaji (진짜지) cannot be replaced by jeongmariji (정말이지). This isbecause jeongmareun (정말은) and jeongmariji (정말이지) are specificphrases. In the same way, jeongmal (정말) + a noun and jeongmal (정말)+ 같다 can neither replace jinjja (진짜) + a noun nor jinjja (진짜) + 같다. Thisis because jeongmal (정말) does not convey the meaning of thing as jinjja(진짜) which conveys the meaning of either thing or fact.
