摘要：A sociedade passa por transformações constantes de cunho social, político e econômico em função do processo de globalização em que estamos inseridos. Com isso, surge cada vez mais a necessidade da sociedade se organizar para fortalecer-se, visando maior competitividade e consequentemente proporcionar o crescimento econômico e social das comunidades. Este esforço de pesquisa tem por objetivo retratar a influência da ideologia cooperativista nas primeiras cooperativas e nas cooperativas de crédito. Através de pesquisa bibliográfica, resgata-se a história do cooperativismo iniciando pelos "precursores" passando pelos "pioneiros", pelo desenvolvimento mundial, e por fim, a história do cooperativismo no Brasil, especificando-se o cooperativismo de crédito. Após a contextualização histórica e estrutural, e realizando uma análise das influências ideológicas, pautada nos princípios do cooperativismo com base na estrutura social e econômica de uma cooperativa de crédito Abstract THE PRINCIPLES OF THE COOPERATIVISM AND THE COOPERATIVES OF CREDIT IN BRAZIL The society passes for constant transformations of social matrix, economic politician and in function of the globalization process where we are inserted. With this, the necessity more appears each time of the society if to organize to fortify itself, aiming at bigger competitiveness and consequence to provide the economic and social growth of the communities. This research effort has for objective to evaluate the influence of the ideology cooperativist in the credit cooperatives. Through bibliographical research, the history of the cooperativism is rescued beginning for the “precursor’s “ going by the “pioneers “, for the world development, and finally, the history of the cooperativism in Brazil, being specified the credit cooperativism.
