摘要:This article discusses the processes involved in the teaching of sociology in Brazil, with the aim of understanding the place of this science in the secondary school curriculum, according to the idea of reflexivity, developed by Giddens. To achieve this, use is made of his analysis of modernity and how sociology is essentially the science for studying modern societies. Our study aims to contribute to a Sociology of the Sociology of Education in Brazil and to an analysis of the Sociology of Education according to the theory of Giddens, still under explored in this field of research.
