The first is Barbosa Lima Sobrinho's The truth on the Revolution of October, 24th 1930 and the other is Boris Fausto's 1930: history and historiography . Both narratives create differents patterns of historical explication, so they keep a rich dialogue between memory and history as ways of historical conscience.
