摘要：Along with the progress of network technology and Internet development, the application of Internet technology in education will be needed in order to improve and distribute evenly the quality of education, especially in higher education. So that the appropriate and quick solutions are needed to overcome various problems related to the quality of education now. With the Internet-based distance learning applications the dependence on distance and time required for the implementation of education and training will be overcome, because all needs will be provided online so that they can be accessed at any time. Web is one of the Internets technology that has evolved and is the most commonly used in the implementation of education and training distance (e-Learning). An example of the web-based learning media is Intelligent Tutoring System (ITS). ITS is a system that provides instruction or individual learning instruction. So this application is expected to facilitate the faculty staff and students in teaching and learning activities. The thesis elaborates the process of designing a web-based ITS by using PHP programming language and MySQL database.
