摘要:Keywords: backward linkages, forward linkages and leading sectors ABSTRACT In the era of globalization and free trade, Indonesia is expected to be ready to compete with other countries. To be able to compete with other countries, before Indonesia must establish in advance the economy have been crippled due to a prolonged multi-dimensional crisis. Strong economic fundamentals can be done by increasing economic development. One of the foundations of analysis used for planning and evaluation needs of economic development is the result of Input Output Table (Table IO). The purpose of this study is to analyze what sectors to be the leading sectors in Indonesia and its role in the national economy. The method used in this research analysis model Input-Output (IO analysis), using some analysis by an analysis of the creation of economic output, the analysis of Gross Value Added (GVA), index analysis, backward and forward linkages. The data used is Indonesian IO table in 2000 and 2005 with 175 sectors of the classification obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics. From the results of data analysis shows that the leading sectors ranked according to the ranking of output and value added is the leading sectors of trade services export sector was ranked according to the old gas (LNG), according to the rating of import goods sector is the result of oil refineries as well as machinery and equipment sector. While having the highest spreading power is processed and mounted fish sector, pulp sector. Sector having the highest sensitivity index value that is processed and mounted fish sector and the banking sector. While the sector in Indonesia there are four sectors that have a degree of sensitivity and power distribution of more than one (above average). The fourth sector is the sector of fish processing and curing sector, pulp sector, the sector generating engine and electric motor, as well as highway transportation services sector.
