摘要:Keyword : COMPUTER ASSIST, LANGUAGE LEARNING, CALL ABSTRACT : This research aims at describing at how Computer Assisted Language Learning develops for learning SIBI (Sistem Isyarat Bahasa Indonesia) and how far the effectiveness Computer Assisted Language Learning (CALL) for learning SIBI (Sistem Isyarat Bahasa Indonesia). In arranging this research paper, the researcher uses a descriptive quantitative method. This method is used in order to solve the problems statements and the aims of the research. The researcher gives a questionnaire to teachers from Elementary Handicapped School Santi Rama, Cipete. The number of teachers who answered the questions is twenty students. The numbers of questions are fifteen questions that divided into three aspects: the first aspect is appearance aspects, the second is content aspects, and the last aspect is interaction of usage. The result of the research showed that there are a few steps to develop a Computer Assisted Language Learning: (1) assessing the needs to identify goals; (2) analyzing the result of assessment; (3) collecting the content of CALL; (4) making the program of CALL; (5) selecting the instructional material; and (6) evaluating CALL. The second aim is how far the effectiveness Computer Assisted Language Learning (CALL) for learning SIBI (Sistem Isyarat Bahasa Indonesia) is. And the result of research is got from questionnaire that given to twenty teachers from Elementary Handicapped School Santi Rama, Cipete. The numbers of questions are fifteen questions that divided into three aspects: the first aspect is appearance aspects, the second is content aspects, and the last aspect is Interaction of usage. After analyzing the data The average score of the quality of appearance aspect is 2,28. So the researcher concludes the appearance of CALL is clear or good for learning SIBI (Sistem Isyarat Bahasa Indonesia). The average score of content aspects is 2,25. So the researcher concludes that content CALL is good for learning SIBI (Sistem Isyarat Bahasa Indonesia). And the last, the average score of interaction of usage of CALL is 2,37. So the researcher concludes that interaction of usageof CALL clear or good for learning SIBI (Sistem Isyarat Bahasa Indonesia). Based on the result of study that refer to score average of the three aspects, the researcher concludes that Computer Assisted Language Learning (CALL) is effective for learning SIBI (Sistem Isyarat Bahasa Indonesia).
