Autism is a disorder that begins and experienced in childhood. Various attempts have been carried out for the parents in tackling the symptoms of autism. However, the handling of each individual with autism is different. Many of them experience digestive disorders, allergies, vulnerable immune system, and suffered from heavy metal poisoning. Various disturbances of bodily functions ultimately affect brain function. Parents have a dominant role in the effort to cure autistic children. The parent is required to understand about autism and be able to give therapy their autistic children. The purpose of this research is to know the difficulties parents face in biomedical therapy for autistic children, the role of parents in the biomedical therapy. The method used in this study is a qualitative approach. Subjects studied in this research are the parents of children with autism and biomedical therapy. Data collection techniques used by researchers is a semi-structured interviews and nonparticipant observation. The result of the study shows that parents face difficulties to handle biomedical therapy for autistic children. Parents find it difficult to control their children diet.
