摘要:This paper aims to analyze the evolution of the Brazilian legislation concerning teacher appreciation. Based on the analysis of the educational legislation, it is observed that although the teacher appreciation has been under a constant debate for a long time in the legal order of the country, with the presence of themes such as fair payment, decent working conditions and other factors, it is still early to say that education professionals are appreciated as they should be. What is established in the law is still far from reality, despite several achievements in recent times. This way, we can say that having legal changes to ensure the teaching appreciation in Brazil is not enough, being indispensable much struggle and social mobilization.
