摘要：This text describes the pathway followed by a researcher trying to understand behavior. From a departure point in which only the human clinical side of psychology was considered I began to understand, through the teachings of Professor Fred Keller, the vast comprehensiveness of behavioral analysis in its experimental and biological aspects. My research on psychoactive drugs focused these aspects, and emphasized for me the importance of neurosciences. I see the confluence of behavioral analysis and neurobiology as a promising pathway for psychology’s progress. Looking back, I see this trajectory as a clear outcome of a lucky influence from teachers and students. Key words: behavioral analysis, neurobiology, psychoactive drugs, teaching
