摘要：The requirements validation process aims at showing that the requirements meet the real needs of users or customers before the implementation of the system, thereby reducing the cost to correct the errors found. For this, some techniques are proposed, as review, prototyping and testing. However, few papers show how those techniques are applied in practice in the companies. This paper presents a quantitative analysis of the use of the requirement validation techniques in the context of IT companies of Fortaleza. To this end, professionals from 35 companies with different profiles answered a questionnaire. The analysis showed that review and prototyping are the most widely used techniques, regardless the type of company and methodology adopted by the company.
