摘要:The science of growing reforestation and conservation plantsin containers has continually evolved, and three simple observationsmay greatly improve seedling quality. First, retainingstock in its original container for more than one growingseason should be avoided. Second, strongly taprooted speciesnow being grown as bareroot stock may be good candidatesfor container production. Third, miniplug seedlings thatcombine growth in containers followed by bareroot culturingmay be a way to improve bareroot bed density and shortenproduction cycles.
