摘要：In this article we present a new approach for supporting people in their daily encounters with technology. Be it at home, in public spaces or on the road, people often need to solve little puzzles when facing new technology in order to carry out a task. Furthermore, help is seldom available or is hard to understand. In this article we present a new approach for delivering ubiquitous assistance through voice-controlled, multimodal explanations. We take advantage of SIP-based communications on personal, trusted mobile devices such as mobile phones to allow users to access explanations anywhere, regardless of the multimedia capabilities available on-site. We also present a modelling approach and software support to adapt explanations to different user knowledge levels, which enables people to adjust dynamically the granularity of instructions they receive
