摘要：A wireless sensor network is new technological advancement in wireless communication. Sensor networks are made up of hundreds or thousands of sensor nodes which are densely deployed in a remote environment with the capabilities of sensing, wireless communications and computations. Many different routing, power management and data dissemination protocols have been designed for wireless sensor networks. In this paper a study on layered protocol stack architecture for communication in sensor networks along with the various congestion control algorithms is discussed
