摘要：Our paper is concentraded at the scientific description andanalysis of Baltic Sea region tourism potential. It bases on statistics of eightEU countries from the period of 2000-2009 and potential analyse of 2010-2011. It shows the influence of EU development, currency exchange rate andimpact of the economic crisis of the years 2000-2009 on number of ferrytourism movement. It shows how the wrong preparation for the transportsituation prevailed in the study area can reduce the competitiveness ofshipping ferry.
