摘要:Parody is an important writing techniques by many Postmodernist novelists. In this paper, by exploring parodies of the Bible story, Christianity and American foreign policy in Cat’s Cradle, the author tries to show the readers that how empty and meaningless the religion itself is, and how tyranny and religion work together to make the life of suffering people more miserable and how the foreign policies of superpower nation impose their tyranny and culture on other nations to secure its own sovereignty.
