摘要：In this paper we present an intelligent educational software system developed for training in positioning of military combat units on the tactical level. It is intended for use by the teachers and students of the Military Academy in Belgrade. It offers to a student a possibility to draw tactical signs on a scanned topographic map, according to a previously obtained assignment. The system is equipped with an analysis tool which can detect student's mistakes warn him, propose corrections, and stimulate him to seek for better solutions. It also offers to a teacher a possibility to design assignments which include the placement of enemy units, obstacles, mine-fields, etc. We are also presenting here some experience gained in knowledge acquisition design and evaluation of this software system.
