摘要:This paper presents a performance study of the Digital Enhanced Cordless Telecommunication (DECT–6) System when used in a multilevel buildings in a congested City Business District (CBD) area. The aim is to determine the maximum capacity of the DECT–6 system for wireless access business telecommunication that combines the features of a PABX with the mobility of cordless telecommunications. First, the transmission performance of the DECT6 system is characterized to establish the criteria for the link failure. The Dynamic Channel Allocation (DCA) strategy of the DECT6 system is then simulated, using the appropriate statistical models for the radio propagation within buildings.
