摘要：A tumor is said to be the growth in theabnormal tissue of the brain which causes damage to thefunctioning cells. Brain tumor detection is very difficult asthere are many techniques available for it. MagneticResonance Imaging (MRI) is the active resource for detectingbrain tumor. It is necessary to use technique which can givethe accurate location and size of the tumor. There are variousalgorithms proposed for brain tumor detection, this paperpresents a survey on the various brain tumor detectionalgorithms. It gives the existing techniques and what are theadvantages and disadvantages of these techniques
