摘要：BAM (Business Activity Monitoring) and CEP(Complex Event Processing) have been deeplystudied in traditional BPM, according to theprocurement of relevant results about processexecution, especially for improvement andmonitoring purposes. Once BPM was introduced inthe cloud and it was necessary to decomposeprocesses in order to execute them in hybridenvironments, the conception of monitoring hassuffered several changes. In previous works we havedesigned an architecture for process execution andmonitoring which considers several services in orderto gather and show the recollected information asrelevant results. A new approach over thisarchitecture takes place in this work: it considersBAM and CEP as mechanisms for the informationgathering process, and also enhances the monitoringapplication taking advantage of these twomethodologies, now under the distributedperspective. Additionally we make a comparisonabout when it is convenient to use BAM or CEPalternatively in a distributed environment, accordingto the nature of the recollected data, the type ofindicators needed to be shown and also the latencywindow over the data used as a source
