摘要：The purpose of this article is to analyze the concept of geosite in terms of research ininternational level and national level, with particularisation on the study of geosites in SouthDobrogea Plateau. Geosites are relief forms with a scientific, ecological, aesthetical,archaeological, historical, religious and economical value, in respect of human perception.Inventory and evaluation of the geosites is a complex process of observation, interpretation andaward the relief of values, making landforms natural resources, cultural and economic. Thesevalues expressed possible synergy between the geological and geomorphological heritage, bioecologicaland historical-cultural identity and gives a site the identity of geosite
