摘要:This study aimed to examine the relationship between organizational identification and identity designed for active and retired teachers. The research method used was a case study conducted in a federal educational institution. The primary data collection technique used was semi-structured interviews with six teachers and six retired on active duty. Regarding the projected identity, teachers and retirees perceive the institution as a school of excellent standard and tradition, the resulting quality of the faculty, the excellent infrastructure, the improvement of pedagogical technologies, creating new courses and the increase in the number of research and scientific events. The agreement with the projected identity causes teachers to associate their personal identity respectability that the institution has achieved over the years in the educational environment. That's what derives the feeling of pride, importance and social value. The retirees, in turn, spoke with regret and expressed the remoteness miss the friends and students, confirming that the event Retirement can be very painful if people do not prepare for this, since it may represent rupture in identity construction, resulting from break the bonds that guaranteed some stability subjective and objective.
