摘要:This paper aims to discuss the possibility of a critical perspective in shaping the training process of Alpha School employees. It was searched for describing the training activity, to identify the practice guiding concept of this activity and the limiting aspects and instigators of the critical paradigm in the training development in that school. It is a case study, with a predominantly qualitative approach and descriptive purpose. The participants were selected from the School employee populations, in a non-random and intentional way, being interviewed through semi-structured roadmaps, thirteen employees. The data analysis was categorical. The training description had as subcategories, the demonstration in their steps, and the empowerment concept, as well as the limiting aspects and instigators of the critical paradigm, investigated as critical and functionalist paradigm indicators by Seguin and Chanlat (1992). It was found that the paradigmatic origins of the training concept are predominantly functionalist, but the conflict view, demystifying perspective, the searching for a certain employees’ independence and the opening for strategic discussions, characterized as evidence of a staff perspective criticism, according to critical organizational analysis proposed by Chanlat Séguin (1992).
