摘要：The so-called local cluster has gained importance in recent years in reconciling local aspects with the increased firms competitive power of a same sector located in the in a region in a cooperative manner. The settings these arrangements assume, with its agents in specific positions and engaged in power struggle by capital, reproduce what proposes Pierre Bourdieu with his Field Theory. Following this approach, consider a local cluster, based on the concept of positions covered by the theory mentioned above, is as a viable alternative for understanding how the set of companies dedicated to viticulture in the São Francisco Valley is structured. This research is configured as a single case study in which categories that structure the field were lifted from the interviews discourse analysis granted by the region wine producing companies representatives. In accordance with Bourdieu’s thought, we confirmed the presence of various agents, associated with social, cultural, economic and symbolic capital, as with nomos and doxa positions. With these results, we expect to contribute to the maturation of a Bourdieu's thought application to the study of local clusters.
