摘要:This article is the result of a research conducted with 60 high school students from a state public school, located in a little town in the North region of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. The goal was to investigate the several ways in which young students interact with new digital technologies and, through the results obtained, indicate methodological possibilities to work with school history. The study has also been constructed with a bibliographical research that aimed to identify the characteristics of this generation named homo zappiens (VEEN e WRAKKING, 2009) and the context of informative obesity in which they live (POZO, 2002). With the results, it is possible to verify that still exist a disturbing distance between the youngsters and the work proposals for the teaching of history, regarding the dominion and the use of these technologies as a learning support.
