摘要：RESUMO: Ao analisarmos as representações do mundo do trabalho e as tentativas de conformação do trabalhador nacional observamos que as mulheres se transformaram em alvo das interpelações. Os discursos tinham em vista o estabelecimento de um padrão de conduta, em que se destacavam imagens normativas para esposas, mães e filhas, representando-as como imprescindíveis à instituição de uma sociedade ordenada, progressista e civilizada. ABSTRACT: Reviewing the representations of the world of work and the attempts to shaping the national worker we observed that women have become the target of notices. The speeches were intended to establish a pattern of conducting in normative images that stood out for wives, mothers and daughters, representing them as essential to the establishment of an orderly, progressive and civilized society.
