摘要：With CDC funding we created and maintain a web-based de-identified medical records database from student health centers (SHCs) at a nationally representative sample of 22 universities. This was accomplished through five specific, interrelated processes. The resultant College Health Surveillance Network (CHSN) is an online resource of de-identified EMRs for over 702,000 students (approximately 900,000 visits per year). This sample is highly representative of the 108 four year research institutions nationally. Each participating IHE uploads data monthly to the secure website: confidential person ID, age, gender, student status, ethnicity/race, date of encounter, ICD-9 codes and CPT codes associated with the encounter.
