摘要:That the language shapes the way we think has been fueled in large part by the observation that different languages talk about the world differently. Concerning language-thought relationship, there are several versions. One common version, most often associated with Sapir (1921), is that differences between languages lead to differences in thought. Henceforth, the present paper, interested in a relativist perspective regarding thought-language relationship, is in an attempt at mulling over the current debates on this very issue.
