摘要:Consumption of organic products in Brazil has acquired visibility and, more recently, has a comprehensive legal framework with regard to inclusion and recognition of other ways of producing, for example, apart from organic production, the agroecologic and the extractivism. In this spectrum, the point of view on quality of food guiding the production, distribution and consumption becomes a key element for market consolidation and preservation of its characteristics as a differentiated way to produce. This article explains the origin of construction and imposition of quality standards for organic products through institutionalization of a conception of control, drawn with participation of the state, which seeks to equate a problem of stability in the market of organic products. This research explores the contours of this construction of a conception of control, featuring its participants, explaining its main discourses and forms of engagement.
