摘要：Increasing asset rationalization in the oil and gas industry has led to a proliferation of preemptive rights issues which must he addressed by oil and gas lawyers. In this article, the authors examine the legal issues and practical problems related to preemptive rights, highlighting the uncertainty faced by parties involved in asset transactions.
