摘要：The privacy issue has been addressed in several areas of knowledge, and it envolves directly the issue of information and information technology, it is essential to include it in Information Science scope. In order to check how this issue has been addressed by the area, is aimed to analyze the recent publications on the subject, categorizing them according to the privacy dictionary developed by Vasalou et al.(2011). It was observed that the issue has been more heavily treated with respect the issues related to privacy violation, and that such publications are predominantly derived from an international context. Considers that the privacy issue will gain greater importance in the Information Science scope as it is present in vehicles that institutionalize such a science.
