摘要：This paper addresses the use of affection as an essential tool in the clinical relationship that is established, in practice, between family physicians (MFC) and their patients. This relationship is different from those of other health care scenarios. Understanding the process of this relationship, identifying the exchange of emotions, acknowledging the reactions and difficulties consciously, contributes to a favorable outcome, improving the care provided and the satisfaction of both.
