摘要：This article is the result of a comparison of two major authors of textbooks Geography: Aroldo de Azevedo, Brazil, and Hermano Justo Ramón, Colombia. These authors, in their respective countries, have large production delimited and didactic knowledge in geography at school that lasted for many years. Then fell to the research investigating changes in education - curriculum reforms, changes in public school, changes in publishing - which resulted in output of these authors in the production of textbooks, both in the early 1970s. A comparison between these two countries provide establish relationships common in the History of the Discipline of Geography in Brazil and Colombia, contributed to this field of research.
