  • 摘要:The development of instructional materials for the On-line Distance Learning includes important aspects that must be considered in order to reach the students' learning expectations. Agreeing with Freire (2006, 2007) about the need of instructional material reflect the principles of dialogic education, this paper analyzes the dialogical characteristics of the most current edition of an on-line course for beginning tutors. Participants were 114 students grouped by five knowledge areas, according to the contents studied. The instructional materials were analyzed based on categories inspired by Paulo Freire’s concept of dialogue: affectivity, mediation, collaboration, autonomy and critical sense. Participants answered an investigative questionnaire related to their perception about the proximity of the on-line lessons to those characteristics. Results highlight the increased presence of dialogical elements in the training course, according to the participants’ point of view. The dialogicity was verified by aspects such as the use of courteous language, the fostering of collaborative learning, the encouragement to the development of student's autonomy and to the reflection on the students' practical and theoretical knowledge related to their major knowledge areas.
