摘要：Since the last decade, almost all Latin American countries have started the digital terrestrial television switch. Taken the Political Economy of Communication as theoretical framework, this paper examines digital terrestrial television public policies in Latin America from a multiperspective approach, determining the foundations of standards election in each country, the role of national and international lobbies and the impact from an industrial policy perspective, and the links with telecommunications and media policies.
