  • 摘要:Although evidence of charismatic leaders handling of non-verbal and expressive behaviors to manage impressions exists in literature, a conceptual framework for understanding this process is not available. Thus, the purpose of this paper is to propose such a framework which draws upon and integrates the literatures in the areas of charismatic leadership, impression management, and non-verbal behavior. More specifically, the proposed model focuses on addressing the question of how do charismatic leaders utilize non-verbal behaviors to manage the impressions formed of them by followers in order to promote and enhance the charismatic relationship . As part of the model, this paper advances ten specific propositions that can form the base for future research initiatives.
