摘要:This paper uses the current crisis of declining food security as a case study for the negative effects of economic globalization on the Two-Third’s World; specifically women and the environment. To accomplish this, this paper uses an ecofeminist perspective to show how the capitalist patriarchal world within which we live, simultaneously devalues women and nature, rendering invisible as well as disposable. For the purpose of this paper topic, the work of Vandana Shiva is explored as her theories about the interconnectedness of women, the environment and globalization are integral to an ecofeminist analysis of globalization from below.
