摘要：The synthesis of 1,3-dihexadecyloxy-2-propanol (glycerol 1,3-dihexadecyl ether) is reported. The method is applicable to the preparation of other 1,3-disubstituted glycerols where the substituents are not affected by acid or by catalytic hydrogenolysis conditions.
