摘要：In this paper, a comprehensive survey on vector median filters to remove the adverse effect due to impulse noise from color images is presented. Color images are nonstationary vectored value signals. Hence, nonlinear filters such as vector median filters are more effective than linear filters. A number of nonlinear filters are proposed in the literature. They have been categorized into 12 groups and discussed in details.
