标题：AVALIAÇÃO ECONÔMICA DOS DANOS AMBIENTAIS CAUSADOS PELA IMPLANTAÇÃO DA USINA HIDRELÉTRICA LUIS EDUARDO MAGALHÃES: UMA APLICAÇÃO DO MÉTODO DE VALORAÇÃO CONTINGENTE
摘要：The main objective of the present research, was estimate the monetary value of the actual damages in Porto Nacional city caused by the implantation of the Luis Eduardo Magalhães Hydroelectric Plant. For in such a way, the Contingent Valuation Method was applied, adopting it form of “auction games”. The method proceed was collection, elaboration and analysis of data. Was constituted a random sample of 200 individuals that had disclosed its Willingness to Accept (WTA) a value that compensated the losses in its well-being in reason of the Lake’s creation. With the method one was gotten a average WTA of R$ 29,25, incurring into a value of R$ 16,2 millions, what it represents a estimate of the annual value of damages generated in the local people’s well-being, caused for the overflow. The joined value serves as beeper for adoption of public politics, and also it serves of base to argue the effectiveness of the calculation method and distribution of the Financial Compensations for the Use of the Hydro Resources.
