摘要：The aim of this paper is to analyze the dynamics of employment by sectors of activity in the regions of Mato Grosso do Sul, in the period 1990/2010, using regional measures of concentration and specialization. Thus, it is possible to diagnose the processes of structural change in the productive sectors and define regional patterns of spatial distribution of economic activities. The main results show a reduction in the number of regions specialized, diversification of the production structure and the reduction in regional differences, which implies a lower productive heterogeneity.
