摘要：This paper presents a general description of the plat- form for remote monitoring and supervision of heart assist devices (POLPDU). To facilitate a more in-depth under- standing of this system and its development, firstly, a brief discussion on severe heart failure problem are given. Then, the short description of the core modules of the system is included. The main emphasis is placed on the communica- tion between the heart assist devices and the central plat- form server. Finally, the directions of development of the system are discussed.
