摘要：This work launches an interdisciplinary dialogue from the Peruvian movie called “Captain Pantoja and The Special Services”. Inspired by a Deleuzian assumption (although not applying its concepts per se) and using different theoretical perspectives, the essay highlights and analyses excerpts from the movie. In its concluding remarks, some insights are presented on the voluntarism-determinism dilemma and on “alternative” possibilities for text construction allowed by the philosophy of language.
