摘要：A ciência, em sua perspectiva histórica, desenvolve-se dialeticamente, por meio de polaridades, recuos, avanços e quebra de paradigmas. Este estudo discorre sobre a problemática da neutralidade. Para tanto, objetivou-se caracterizar o conhecimento científico sob o ponto de vista do mito da neutralidade científica, considerando as teorizações em torno de um novo espírito científico, tributário da complexidade. De forma específica, elaborou-se um modelo de aproximação dos temas investigados para situar a crítica ao “jogo” e à “imitação” enquanto constructos das Ciências Sociais, e, também, realizou-se análise observacional do filme O Jogo da Imitação. Dessa forma, a pesquisa foi realizada em duas etapas metodológicas: a composição de um ensaio e uma análise fílmica, ambas ancoradas na abordagem qualitativa. Como resultado, observa-se que na crítica ao “jogo” e à “imitação” nas Ciências Sociais, e na constatação de que o “jogo” e a “imitação” presentes no filme, há reflexões sobre o fazer ciência com base em sujeitos históricos que se inserem no mundo a partir de constatações e reflexões. Nesse processo construtivo alinham-se a história (evolução) do pensamento humano e a história da ciência. KNOWLEDGE BUILDING AND FILM ANALYSIS: The Imitation Game in Social Sciences ABSTRACT Science, in its historical perspective, develops dialectically through polarities, retreats, advances and break of paradigms. This study discusses the issue of neutrality. Therefore, this study aimed to characterize scientific knowledge from the point of view of the myth of scientific neutrality, considering the theorizations on a new scientific spirit, tax complexity. Specifically, it elaborated a model approach of the themes investigated to situate the critique of “game” and “imitation” as constructs of Social Sciences, and also held observational analysis of the movie The Imitation Game. Thus, the research followed two methodological steps: the composition of an essay and a film analysis, both anchored in the qualitative approach. As a result, it is observed that, on the criticism of the “game” and “imitation” in the social sciences, and on the finding that the “game” and “imitation” present in the film, there are reflections on making science based upon historic subjects who inserted themselves in the world from observations and reflections. In this constructive process, the story (evolution) of human thought and the history of science line up.
