摘要：We showed that 6R-BH4, a natural cofactor for aromatic amino acids hydroxylases, can stimulate exocytotic DA release independently of its cofactor activity, and ACh release via monoaminergic system. From these results, it is quite likely that 6R-BH4 plays an important role in the regulation of neuronal activity, as a modulator of neurotransmitter release as well as a cofactor for hydroxylases.
