  • 摘要:The effect of a supplementary food mix prepared from roasted mungbean, groundnuts, and sugars on maternal nutrition and birth weight of newborns was studied. The results indicated that sup-plementary food provided to the pregnant women had a significantly positive effect on the birth weight of newborns. In addition, a significantly higher weight gain by the mothers was observed as compared to the control group.
